Flywheel weight 4D56

Hello community, today I have a very special question. Maybe I can find an answer here.

As you might know, my other ride is a Mitsubishi L200 truck with basically the same 4d56 Diesel engine as in the Deli. It puts out more power and torque thanks to a bigger turbocharger and an electronically governed injection pump. My problem with the L200 is a loud and harsh sound from the gearbox under hard acceleration. I know that it has a transmission developed by the Mitsubishi bus & truck compartment while the Deli inherited a gearbox that has been originally designed for a sedan, respecting all measures you have to take for a passenger-car's low NVH-level. The truck's gearbox is ten times more rugged in comparison but only slightly louder. Normally. I know, because I owned an L200 with the same innards before. It ran wonderfully quiet in comparison.

So far, so normal. In the case of our L200, however, it surpasses the normal noise by dimensions. My conclusion after replacing peripherals like the engine mounts, exhaust, and many other details without effect was to swap the whole tranny for a newer one (nearly new) and mount a brand new cutch. I could instantly feel by shifting how much better its overall condition was, but the sound remained completely unchanged: way above normal levels.

The source of the noise is very obviously the play between the gears on the gearshaft rattling against the teeth of their counterparts on the layshaft. Under hard acceleration, they get stimulated by the engine’s torsional vibrations in certain frequencies. I can tell because I succeeded to damp down the noise by changing to an oil of a different quality, but the noise is still annoying. I know that the previous owner had the engine replaced by the dreaded Hyundai 4DBF, which runs like a dream in our car since 120.000 kms. My last resort is thus a wrong flywheel, it might be lighter than the original one. Maybe Hyundai designed a lightweight version since they used the engine with completely different transmissions in their lineup, except from the one for their delivery van called Hyundai H100, which is a relative of the quiet running transmission in the Delica, however.

So many words for such a short question: Is there a possibility to find out the flywheel weights or is there even a heavier bolt-on-solution from bigger engines like the Mitsubishi 4m40 (2,8 litre) or even 4m41 (3.2 litre, still a 4-pot!)?

Greetings from Munich, and please feel free to ask any time if my English should be cryptic
