Just discovered this group and am glad to be a part of it. I'm Dan, the proud owner of a 1989 Delica Chamonix that I just picked up last week. Looking forward to banging my head against walls getting my Delica customized to just how I want it.

Awesome that you have the original logos on it. Mine were covered over on the hundreth repaint job! ha! What are your build plans for her?
 
My long term goal is to tear out the carpet and seats in the interior and replace with sound matting and then hardwoods from floor to ceiling. Build out a bench/bed and some storage. I want to take her on a few trips before I settle on a layout but I've seen a few other camper builds that I'm leaning towards. Also planning on roof rack, snorkel, ladder, sliders, and new wheels/tires.

The cylinder head cracked under the previous owner's watch and luckily he had a new one installed right before I bought it. Although I just noticed an oil leak that I'm pretty sure is coming from the half moon seal which wasn't replaced when they installed the new head. Hopefully I can just focus on accessories and not have many more mechanical issues...fingers crossed.
