Greetings!! Was wondering if anyone on here might have access to JB 470 or JB 500 Vantech manuals?
Their website (in Japanese) sadly doesn't have any manuals available around '93-'95.
Obviously would love to find one in English.

Welcome! You've got yourself a (very cool) genuine mystery machine now! My JB500 didn't come with any manuals and I know the 500 and the 470 were different layouts with *perhaps* different equipment? My camper section is mostly all Reimo, not sure what the 470 has. I haven't had any luck myself finding manuals but am happy to try and answer any questions.

Also, please post some picks!
 
Hi All! I am also new to this forum, and in the process of purchasing a JB 470! 1995 4WD 4D56 diesel turbo. I came across this thread and was curious if anyone has located a manual. Thanks for any help!
 
Can owners here tell me the typical price of the 470 and 500s? There are not a ton to compare. I've seen them listed $35-$29k in the states. Sound about right? Thanks.
 
Yep, that’s a pretty standard range for these. I’ve seen them as low as $25k but those are usually in pretty rough shape.

Don't have a manual but have a JB500...following this as sure one would be useful. Old owner showed me most of the quirks but it's fun finding out how it all works on the road
 
Heyyy y’all l am a JB470 owner as well. Currently in Moab. I have a vantech manual!! I’m not really in any place to scan/upload at the moment but will be in a couple weeks and will be happy to share. Does anyone have a manual for the Mitsubishi truck side of things??
 
I would like to see a manual but not sure how useful it would be. I have rewired mine so I am not sure if a manual will help.

Hi Gummy. I'm a JB470 owner, which has a fair number of differences from the JB500. I'd love to have a copy of the JB470 vantech manual whenever you have an opportunity to scan it. Thanks for the offer!
 
Hi JB470 and 500 family. Am from Malaysia and just shipped in a JB470 from Japan too. Now awaiting paperwork and registration to drive home. Also in search of manuals. Will try to manually map out some of the things and share.

I have bits and pieces of Mitsubishi 4D56T service manuals as I also own a Pajero and a normal L300 van. Let me share them up.

JB500. Google translation. Not the best format but every page is there.
My JB500 from OttoEx in PDX is finished. Now I just need to find time to get to Portland and bring it home to Iowa. 123_1_20211101_174749 (2).jpeg
 
you are the best! I selected them all and right clicked to download the complete 54 items as a zip. (just in case anyone needed tips on getting this saved to their desktop)
 
I'm picking up our 93 JB500 on Wednesday from Alex at Ottoex. I'll be driving it back to Iowa (with a stop for 2 days of skiing ) my first diesel vehicle.
Anything you can think of that you wish you'd known before you pulled away from his shop? It made it from the docks in Tacoma to PDX but I'm still leery of the thought of driving a relatively untested vehicle through a couple of mountain ranges in the winter.
