These are brand new alternators made by AS-PL (europe). Each is individually certified on a D&V Electronics test bench and the certification/results are included in the box. No changes are required to the wiring harness/plug. Factory 2yr warranty.
I have two 75A which use the 8mm pivot bolt- $325ea
And two 90A which use the 10mm pivot bolt- $355ea
I can provide reducer bushings for the 90A alternators to use an 8mm pivot bolt. Shipping to the lower 48 is included.
I can also get AS-PL alternators for the 4M40, and probably for any of the gas engines as well; but timeline/cost varies a little as I am not keeping them on-hand. I can also get starters with the same quality control, individual testing/certification, and warranty.
This is an example report for a 75A alternator... for these alternators the 75A occurs at lower RPM and the alternator can actually put out much more. The 75A can put out ~110A, and the 90A is capable of ~ 120A.
A higher output alternator typically puts out less amperage at low RPM, it just saturates later so continues to increase output at even higher RPM. The 90A outputs ~ 10A less than the 75A alternator does up to 3500RPM; but it continues to increase output up to 6000rpm. Note that alternator RPM is higher than engine RPM.
TBH, I don't think there is that much benefit to the 2yr warranty because the alternator has to be shipped back to the manufacturer for a claim to be made.
