How many Delicas in the US? & Where are there Delica Mechanics in the US? See Map

Very cool map. Added my Lyle, WA pin.

Columbia River Gorge represent!

Hey! Just out of curiosity, are you still in the Lyle area? I grew up in Hood River before moving away and spent last summer in White Salmon still. Only saw one other Delica tho :/ I’ll be around for a bit this summer so let’s meet up if so!

Whoa! What does your neighbor do with five Delicas?
He buys them in varying states and fixes them up like new. Nice guy and talented as well. He has a shop Autobahn Auto that has typicallybworked o. VW, BMW, Mercedes... Then I took my rig up to him to put in a new passenger window. He was taken (as we all have been).

Does anyone have any idea how we can estimate how many Delicas owners there are? I have to imagine the number is just starting to grow.

Probably bad form to reply to a really old part of the thread, but I thought it was interesting: There were 1400 Delicas in British Columbia in 2013 according to our insurance corporation. I would hazard a guess there's more than that now!

The map looks very sparsely populated in my area given the above!! :)

I'm in Hampton VA. I talked my neighbor into getting a Delica and now he has 5.... We need to get a VA Deliclysm going this coming Spring/Summer!
Is your Neighbor willing to sell one? I’m currently on the market for one.

Dunno how i missed this map for the past 2 years. Anyway, submitted my location/name. Also, as far as I know, Glen Shelley in Erie CO no longer services Delis.

New to Colorado myself, can confirm Glenn Shelly communicated they no longer service Delica’s. I reached out to both Linden and Pro over the weekend to see about getting my Deli towed in to replace the crank pulley as I can’t do the work in my apartment parking lot. I heard Linden isn’t working on them anymore either, fingers crossed on a positive response.

I’m in Colorado Springs if y’all want to meet up. I found a small time diesel mechanic that’s willing to work on mine. Given he has the correct parts.

Pro Auto in Denver is definitely taking Delica’s in for work, they just towed mine over to the shop. It would be great to meet up, I’m hoping to have my Deli back on the road by mid April.

Could you provide details on Pro Auto? There seems to be a few in Denver. Full name, address. Would like to add them to the Delica Map.
