yeah you can. my hitch ends up sticking out a few inches past the rear bumper however. I ended up putting my spare on the roof just so the hitch could sit flush with the edge of the bumper. Its pretty minor really, and I often wonder why I bothered moving the spare at all.
 
Our rear dual swing out will accept a 32"OD tire and keeps it low for better rear vision. It can be fitted to right or left arms as the swing out arm attachments will fit on either side. License plate relocation and some additional rear lighting has been addressed for L300 and L400.
