Damn knock off parts from china. Head gasket blown between 2 cylinders. Coolant in oil don't mix to good. ‍♂️ Well, they do mix alright... Just the result is damn shitty.
Back to the shop.

That's the most ridiculous tow rig I've ever seen for a vehicle this size. How on earth is that easier than winching it up a ramp!?

Machined head and block, clean internals and the muse to pick color for the block ☺️.

Downsizing from 30" to 235/75/15. Less fuel consumption and better ride.

Plus 1987 Bridgestone Zona rims that I found. They where dusting inside a shed for 20 years before I got them and restore.

The rims look great and for being 20 years old they have a very contemporary styling...

Nice rims!
I'm currently running Falken Wildpeak 30x9.5. I think my next tires are going to be Falken Rubitrek 235/75 (for the narrower footprint).

i had the same thought... in fact i was going that way first but at the last minute went with larger 30x9.5 which i think takes just a little to much steam out of the l300
