No power to windows or blower; fuse looks good. Where to look next? 1991 l300

I'm stuck in the rainiest city in the country with my delica l300 (1991 P35W) and my windows won't roll up! I've been scouring all the forum posts here, and none of the other suggested fixes I've seen seem to help. Where should I look next?

Fuse box fuse is NOT blown
Power locks work great
Blower motors, both front and back, are dead. They both worked previously

Fusible link by the battery seems to be fine, I disconnected it and tested the locks, then on reconnect locks worked again.

I tried to switch around a few relay fuses (behind drivers speakers), but still no power to the windows. I have yet to test relay fuse continuity with my voltmeter, I'll have to do that when I get home... Any other ideas?
 
I shorted the window relay just now with a paperclip; it was enough to slowly roll up my windows. Guess I just answered my own question... But thanks to the community for your posts, I couldn't have done it without the information here!
 
I had seen a picture of exactly that prior to submitting my original post. I didn't have any wire on hand when this happened, I was about to cut up some headphones when I saw the paperclip in the glove box.

Do these relays typically all fail at once? My blower motor is still out, I'll probably try to replace those relay fuses at least. Really like the window jumper idea though!
 
Relays are not actually fuses. They are an electrically activated switch. They function to make certain other switches only work when the ignition switch is on, hence, the windows don’t work without the key. Jumping the relay negates this feature.

Actually, relays are used to power high current draw consumers (i.e. glow plugs/lights/etc). That way low current switching can be used to control the relay instead of powering/switching the consumer directly (safer, smaller wire bundles, etc).
Do these relays typically all fail at once?
That would be unusual...
 
Sk66 your post about jumping the terminals for the window relay saved my bacon the other night, I can't thank you and the other heavy posters enough for all your work on this forum.

Seems my defroster relay burned out some time ago and I hadn't noticed. The window relay was recent, the other relays appear to be fully functional still.

Looks like I have to track down where my front blower motor failed... I was messing around with my carpet by the driver's seat the other day, maybe I unplugged something...
 
I’ve replaced the switch and swapped around the relays but still can’t get my power windows to roll up, idk what I’m missing?
 
All of the fuses look good though I don’t think I have a 16 - 17.

The relay for the windows is definitely hotter than the other ones while I sit with vehicle on ACC.

Not sure where the fusible link is but the wiring harness at the switch is not getting any power
 
If the relay is getting hot I would assume it's getting power and the fusible link is OK. That would mean there is a wiring issue between the relay and the window switches if the relay has been replaced.
 
okay cool thanks that makes sense. The link connectors all feel snug. I might take off the instrument cluster and see if I get get a better visual of the wires coming from the relay.

The window switch harness must be this one that travels under the drivers seat?

order is restored, the wiring harness for the window switch has a plug under the center console/carpet which can only be accessed by removing the center console itself.

Actually, it can be accessed by removing the little panel that houses the window switches and coin cup... it just pops out.

Had it come apart?
 
Yeah I’m aware of that plug, but the harness courses backwards towards the most rear portion of the engine cover before taking a turn and going under the driver seat. There is another plug under the console itself, that connects the forward part of the harness to the plug that comes up under the switch.

This second plug had come undone at some point while I was messing with things
