My trip from the UK to northern Norway with Jock my 96' L300 Active World. Long nights, spiked tyres, snowy roads.

I love the Lofotens. It looks like they are as beautiful in winter as they are in summer! My first time up there was on my Norton Commando (40 years ago, when the roads were mostly rough or unsealed), and 9 years ago by train to Narvik, and then hire car to the islands. Envious of you going by Delica, it;s just too far from Australia to do it in mine.

Wow It must have been a very different experience 40 years ago! What an adventure on the bike too. Perhaps Lofoten to Australia isn't such a bad idea :)

I found this picture of the old Arctic Circle Cafe on the E6. It was a great place to warm up, have the best mug of hot chocolate ever, and chat to fellow travelers. There was a large map on the wall you could sign where you came from, and a bulletin board (an actual physical one) to leave messages for friends who were also on the road. Sadly, its now been bulldozed and replaced with the Polar Circle Centre, replete with stuffed polar bear and reindeer. Not all changes are for the better IMHO.

I hope your Delica is going well @nordic_deli_0121 and you're having fun.
