Northeast meetup

I wanted to gauge the interest for a Northeast meetup. I am located in Allentown, PA, about 50 miles to Philadelphia and 100 miles to NYC. So, I'm willing to travel in the direction of either according to where the most members reside. I'm envisioning contacting a brewpub type place and have a few in mind toward Philadelphia, where we might ask them to reserve part of the lot, do a bit of a takeover, line up our Delicas and get to know each other over a few brews. I guess a good start might be to reply if you are 1. interested in attending, 2. prefer a Saturday or Sunday or particular month or date even 3. your general location. Then, we can try to choose a place that is convenient to the most owners.

Interested- I live in NYC during the week and spend most weekends at my house upstate near Hunter Mountain.I could go to Philly,Jersey,NY - a meet up with some trails would be cool too!

I'm interested but weekends are difficult for me to get away in the warmer months.
Philly would be a great spot! or Brooklyn?!

I am going on july 13th for the day.If anyone wants to camp out on my property I have an acre 15 minutes from the event.I have a bbq grill that can be used as well.

How was it? I've not seen any comments about how it went and noticed that it does not appear to be a repeat event in 2020. Did it all go O.K?

It was awsome - due to the pandemic not alot of events happening at all.I do know where are some great powerline service roads nearby though that i go on

Hi everyone,

I'm still up for something. I like to cruise around Vermont on my motorcycle and the BMW club up here has mapped out some good roads for enjoyment. They aren't really that difficult in terms of off-roading, but a fun ride nonetheless. The most well known one is called the "Puppy Dog Route."

https://ridebdr.com/ also has a ton of stuff mapped out though most it wouldn't be passable with a van. Some of their stuff is really awesome. I've done some of the sections near herewith the Delica and they are mostly just standard New England dirt roads (which Vermont has a ton of).

https://www.where2wheel.com/trails/trail/full/187 - Vermont has a ton of Class 4 roads where the jeep and 4x4 crowds tend to go. Could explore that as well.

Unfortunately, we don't have access to the access to all the public land like out west, but we could figure something out! Vermont also has a really nice state park system but that all depends on how everything reopens. Just throwing out some thoughts here.
