So I import stuff...

Hi Kellyn. You seem to be in the know with respect to importing...I am trying to source some 16" 5 bolt pattern rims for my Isuzu Elf work truck. I spied some on a site called Beforward in Japan. Have you ever dealt with them? Or do you know any other sites that are good to deal with in the parts realm? I am probably gonna need to find some other parts as well.
 
I haven't dealt with them personally but a friend who imports lots of vehicles has and he says they're OK. So you're good to go there. I'd recommend the Japanese Yahoo auction site. Quite a few members have reported success with ordering parts from there. Good luck!

Generally, the Japanese auction house is good. But, beware on ordering anything of size from the auction sites. Shipping is outrageous for the big stuff.
 
The rims I am trying to procure have shipping of 700 bucks canadian. For 6 wheels. Works out to 175 a wheel all costs in...if it fixes my head ache that's no too bad...was reading your post about L300 master cylinder...I may have one of those to too. Takes a week or so to set off the low level sensor. I will have to take a look in the light. Just had one of the wheel cylinders replaced and I thought that may have been the problem. Always when you are 9 hour drive from home...here's hoping for a limp back to home base....
 
So... Do you import for a business or just for fun?

I live in portland and have talked to a couple importers, but they "specialize".

I want a Mazda Marvie... The pickup-based 4 door suv...

We import as a business! Delicas but also all kinds of weird stuff! I'll ask Kellyn if he thinks he can get you one.
