Year, model: 1992 Mitsubishi Delica L300 Reimo
Engine: Diesel 4D56
Transmission: Automatic
Kilometers: 155,000
Location: Lyle, WA
Price: $15,000

Update: Comes with brand new D4BF engine (uninstalled).

This is an excellent weekend adventure van. Been a reliable camper for the wife and I for four years. This L300 is a Reimo camper special, but has been modified over the years. The fridge was removed at some point to create easy access from the rear hatch. As is, it's a great size can for two people, but is a little cramped with a 3rd, or a larger pet.

Pop-top is great for the extra headroom, and has slats to create an alternate sleeping area if you don't want to use the twin-sized bed.

Only has a single additional seatbelt, and it's in a very awkward spot. Hard to transport more than two people.

The transmission was recently rebuilt ($3,500) and is still under warranty.

The engine has developed an oil leak. It isn't dripping all over the ground, but you can see it coating the side of the engine. While it runs and I trust it'll get you where you need to go, I would highly recommend getting it looked at.

Update: A brand new D4BF engine comes with the van. It is not installed, however. Purchased from Karr Automotive.

The good:
Reimo camperized Delica
New wheels and tires
New Good Karrma rear bumper
Xplormor Ladder
Artificial gutters on pop-top with two crossbars
Hi-lift jack mount on front bumper
Dobson front torsion bars
Transmission rebuilt

-Not installed accessories-
New aluminum radiator, fan, and hoses
Snorkel
EGT and gauge
New rear leaf springs (slight lift)

The bad:
Engine is coated in oil. Don't know the source of the leak.
Will get you where you need to go, but would highly recommend looking into the issue.
Smokes when stepping hard on the gas pedal.
Temp gauge is not very reliable.
Diesel heater was removed.
Has rust on the underside, and around some of the wheel wells. It has been a challenge working on undercarriage parts, as the hardware is pretty rusty.
Rear sway bar isn't installed. Have new hardware to reinstall, but was going to get new bushings and never did.
Door weather stripping is peeling. Recommend all new weather stripping.
AC does not work, therefore the cool box does not work.
Does not come with an awning, but has mounts for one.

Sorry for the album blast. Selecting pertinent images and adding to the forum using a phone was not ideal.

Yes, sorry for the late reply. It is still available.

I'll check to see if there's any indication that it's LSD. Otherwise I'll jack it up and spin the tire to see if they both spin the same direction, or opposite.

any luck on determining if it has LSD? Also curious if you ever found a shop that would do the engine swap.

if you open the drivers door and see an orange rectangular sticker on the door near the lower seal, then you have LSD

Sorry for the delay. The snow slowed me down and then it was back into full house build mode. Hoping to check on it later this week (it's stored at another place).

Haven't looked around other than years ago (pre-COVID) to see who would be interested in performing the swap. My plan was to tackle it once the house was getting closer to completion. Another wrench in all my lovely ambitions is that my wife and I are expecting a child in late April. It's highly likely the poor Delica will sit the rest of 2024 out while I try and play dad.

Sold the Delica today. Excited for the new owner and hope they have many fun adventures as my wife and I did with the van.
