Super quick glow timer CPU

My glow timer started to fail (no clicks when cold, erratic fast clicking when driving sometimes) and although I have a manual override I like having things work as they should.

I found this site http://www.w1ngselectronics.com/index.php?page=l300-glow-timer

I contacted the owner Daniel in Canada and he’s still repairing these. Super nice guy, I shipped my cpu to him and for a little over $100 ( depends how bad yours is) he replaced some capacitors, redid some solder joints and general clean up and now my timer works as it should again!

I had him repair mine when I first got the van... I tried to do it myself but apparently there was a junction I missed because the board was so corroded and I didn't know what it should look like.

I also left my manual bypass installed just-in-case; and it sometimes helps to give them a little more juice than the controller does on really cold starts.

Yeah I looked at the diagram, opened it up and figured it'd take so much of my time to try and figure out how to fix, it was way easier and cheaper to have him repair it.

I do the same, I wait for the clicks, then hold down my manual switch while cranking. I do this on all cold starts
