Hi all. Does anyone have handy the part number for a 1995 L400 diesel 4 cylinder fuel injection pump? I need to get mine rebuilt and my mechanic is asking for this. Thank you in advance!

Thank you! Do you know the vehicle's frame/chassis number for a 1995 Delica L400 turbo diesel? I see several options and have no idea.

It'll be on the silver plate that mounted under the hood on the driver side fender by the fuse box. The same VIN number should be on your insurance card too!

You're looking for the number that starts with P. examples would be PA6W-1234567 or PB5V-1234567 or PE8W-
The exact designation depends on what model and specification it is.

There is a tag that is visible with a mechanics mirror on the side of the pump. The part number is also engraved but may be hard to see. You should be able to remove the intercooler and gain access

There are a few different numbers on the pump. The best number is going to be on a sticker, on the side of the pump.

Example stamped into the pump (1996 4M40 Delica) is 104641-3420. It will come up in ZEXEL but it will not give any info. On the sticker is 104741-3420 and it will give us the pump breakdown , injectors along with opening pressure.

Sometimes it is just changing the 6 to a 7 on the fourth digit. I stopped asking why 30 years ago.
