Wilco rear tire carrier

I’m hunting for a way to carry my spare tire on the back and came across this product. I was curious if anyone has experience with Wilco off-road, seems to be a robust tire carrier and I should be able to plug my bike rack into this as well! Only thing I’m slightly concerned about is the weight of the carrier(54 ish lbs), tire(60 ish lbs), a Yakima bike rack with a few mtn bikes(49 lbs plus 35 ish lbs per bike) so overall I would be looking at a tongue weight approaching 275 lbs if I had 4 bikes on there....

Thoughts Delica hive mind?

I really should just bite the bullet and go that route....on a side note still can’t wait to see how your aux fuel tank works out!
I think we have some new ones arriving this week if you’re interested.

I've got the Wilco and love it cause if need be I can take it of and throw it on my truck if need be.

This site is the bumper manufacturers and shop. They're on this forum, but might answer faster via an email.

For the sake of diversity, RiG’d makes some very nice hitch-mounted tire swing arms:

I like that they advertise it for use with bike racks, as this appeals to me as an avid mountain biker. Also, they have a lot of useful accessories that can be easily attached. I’m thinking about going this route for use between my van and GX470 (same bolt pattern), although I’ve bought most of the components to fabricate my own bumper with swingout that will feature a 2” receiver that swings out with the tire like the RiG’d.

Just for the sake of a wide range of options, something like this hitch mounted tire carrier is probably the least expensive option. I have no idea about quality, strength or longevity, but might be worth a look. Swings down to allow the rear tail gate to open.

I just chatted with RiG'd online and they said they Ultaswing would not fit on the Delica because the distance between the hitch and the rear gate is too small.

Did you end up going this route?
