WTB Rear Rack for 1997 Delica JB500

I'm a new owner of this really cool JB500 car camper van and loving it! Mine doesnt have the rack on the rear end and my luggage rack area is occupied by a large solar panel. Is it possible to buy the rear rack to attach storage to? Are. there ways to attach storage pods directly to the threaded attachment points built into the van? Is the undercarriage stout enough to accomodate a receiver hitch for my Cargo Pod?

I measured up the Jb500 Attachment points

Top screws - 2 sets each set 3 1/4” apart

21 1/4” between sets inside screw to inside screw

26” outside screws

Bottom set 7 1/2” apart

35” top sets to bottom set

Bolts stick out 1/2”
are 3.8” or 5mm diameter

Body protrudes 1/2” out

Fridge covers protrude another 1/4” total 3/4” out

31 1/2” between hot water cover and electrical cover

I have to believe these M5-.8 screws can’t hold much and no idea what supports them.

I think it’s just fiberglass supporting them, same with the flimsy roof rack. I removed my gray water tank and mounted a tow hitch to the aluminum body frame with 6 bolts. I have a steel platform bike rack that i carry 2 mountain bikes with and has been solid for about 8000 miles. I wouldn’t carry much more than that tho, I am also not an engineer!
