    Hey Cody -
    I see you have kayaks atop your L300. Been looking for a similar solution. Can you give me some info on your setup and experience? How easy is it to load/unload? Would you do something different if you were starting again from scratch?

    I have a yakima rack system. Round bars that are 65" (i think), standard gutter mounts with risers. I wish I had longer bars and it's a paint to load the kayaks into an actual kayak holder because the van is so tall (I'm also short). Last summer I ended up not using the kayak holders but just throwing them on top of the bars. It worked well and was much easier.

    I think the roller style racks would work great for loading from the rear and if you have the budget, the thule hulevators (sp?) are pretty amazing. I look forward to see what you end up with. Let me know what other questions you might have.
