    Dimming gauge lights

I believe these are the same lights if I remember correctly, it's been a while since I was back there. There may be some images online showing the back panel to better determine this. Sadly I didn't take any of the actual back of the panel when I had it off.

    Whats your favorite awning?

I have the 8 foot (photos here). The one in the photo above is a 10 foot according to his post here. The option to attach the legs to the body is optional, the awning comes with the body mounts or you can just use them as standard legs (the post has photos of both). I believe it makes it more...

    Whats your favorite awning?

I have a Fiamma 45. It’s great and the hand crank makes it super easy to put out and put away if we are driving off from camp to day hike or if we are just stopped briefly for a meal. Mine is mounted to the roof rack and also has a slight gap between the awning coverage and the van.

White rear bumper bar and original “skid plates”

I replaced the two thin protective metal plates with FTS skid plates on my van and have the white bar that goes under the rear bumper. Will trade the bar and original under engine covers for a good 12 pack of beer. Can post pictures later if you’d like. Cheers, Jessey

    “Terzo” style ladders

Any chance you can get extra brackets? I have a ladder but it only has one bottom bracket.

    Replacing vacuum pump oil line?

That would have been a good idea, I was thinking about ways of macgyvering a string that could easily be untied once the first threads were on it, but kept thinking I'd cause more problems for myself. It was truly strange how quickly changing positions made it a very easy thing to do. A lesson...

What Did You Do for Your Van Today?

Over the past two weeks I replaced upper ball joints, front shock absorbers, valve/rocker cover gasket, oil change, air filter changer, and vacuum pump oil line. Taking it in for the lower ball joints and an alignment this week. I also replaced my oil plug with a Fumoto plug although the long...

    Replacing vacuum pump oil line?

This was more difficult than I had hoped, maybe it was just an off day. Removing the driver's seat was only helpful in morale since it allows you to see the top bolt that you have to unscrew, but you can't get your hand down there to do anything about it. I would say it would be near impossible...

    Replacing vacuum pump oil line?

Thanks for @Growlerbearnz , super helpful! Curious if you know, would that top bolt be easier to access by removing drivers seat? I've been trying to figure it out from looking under the van and my photos from the last time I removed the drivers seat, but can't tell. Luckily my tube from CCAutos...

    New Owner - two mysteries

I'm pretty sure in mystery number 1, the plastic hose connects to the black square connection (with round point inside of it) to the left of the words Oil Filter. You can see where it's connected on this post of mine with a different question about oil leaks in a similar area and similar photograph.

Steps: Replacing the Upper Ball Joints

Recently replaced the upper ball joints on my 91' L300. The upper ball joints are the same part on both sides, I bought mine from Febest on Amazon, part number Mr241623 and they did come with grease point fitting, which I was surprised by. Overall I would say this is a pretty simple task in...

    Jacking Point and Jack Stands

Ahh thanks. Looking at it closer I should have turned the jack stands 90degrees so the weight is on the two curved points instead of the thin unsupported metal tabs that bent.

    Replacing vacuum pump oil line?

I need to replace the oil line to my vacuum pump, according to Apex Auto and the looks of it. The lower bolt looks easy to access, but I can't see up to see how accessible the upper bolt is. From what I've read on other forums, it looks like I should be able to access it during an oil change...

    Jacking Point and Jack Stands

Jacked up my front end today to replace the upper ball joints. Put jack stands where I believe they should go based on the workshop manuals, but it looks like one side bent in a little bit. Am I completely misunderstanding where to put the jack stands? I have a 91 L300 Super Exceed.

    Dimming gauge lights

I replaced my Wheel Lock light a few weeks ago and if I remember right most of the bulbs back there were the same size. The bulbs for all the warning/indicator lights are the #2721 sized ones. I bought the Sylvania Long Life ones, there are probably LEDs out there for this as well. This is not...
