Does anyone know if the AC compressor is diesel specific or can you use a compressor from a gas L300? A friend of mine is doing an engine swap and he is willing to part with his compressor from his gas model.

This will be my next project. Evan sent me replacement bushings and I should be able to press them in/out at work. Question, did you support the transmission before taking the mounts completely off?
