I'm having trouble understanding how a 5-leaf spring intended for vans lifted 2"+ would only be a .8cm difference for stock vans? Maybe @Growlerbearnz or @sk66 could add some insight into the variances between what is supposed to be stock (4 leaf springs) and what is being sold as a stock...

Those are the same 5 leaf springs I was incorrectly sold. If you have a stock van you should only have 4. I texted Steven yesterday and he said he still doesn't have them in stock. He's supposed to be shipping me replacements when he gets them so we'll see how it goes. I don't feel comfortable...

Man, crazy how much better the van stops with well-adjusted rear brakes o_O @sk66 I manually adjusted them since I had the drums off but are you saying that each time the parking brake is applied it should re-calibrate the adjuster?

@Foxusmc buy more than one set. They're life savers if/when traveling. I always keep spares Also highly recommend these for rodents. I live in packrat country and they've saved me a ton of damage and headache.

I have a 30 amp DC to DC and I've fried three alternators. I would either replace the alternator with a beefed-up one or get a lower amp charger.

The upper rod on mine was getting stuck so I ended up cutting it off. The lock tab is hidden within the rear brake light and would never be accessible otherwise so I didn't feel I needed it.

Where are you located? I've got a spare rear glass from a hatch swap I recently did.

@sk66 any ideas on how/where to look for running light fuses/junctions? Perhaps just a random coincidence but would like to get it resolved since most of the days are darkness this time of year.

@sk66 my platform buildout blocks the open panel of the tailgate when closed but I managed to fit a dremel in the gap and I cut off the upper part of the locking mechanism. Didn't think there's much of a need for the little pop up lock that's inside the brake light.

What bulbs did you use? The original post is showing them not available. I just swapped out my tailgate after a wreck and the new light bar isn't working. Thanks!

I've seen a similar post for L400's but I've got an L300. Replaced the entire rear hatch and swapped over my locking mechanism because the latch on the new one wouldn't open. It worked and I was able to close it BUT now I can't get it to unlatch. I can hear the unlock/lock button moving...

@dshin16 curious how you got your lock selenoid out. I'm swapping tailgates and want to keep my original key but the lock seems to be just a little too big to push through the light bar on the tailgate.

thanks, it feels like the light bar hole is just millimeters smaller than the key selenoid but I'll keep working it to see if I can get it out. I can't pull it out the interior side so pushing through the light bar is the only option. I might have to shave a little of it off
