I’m looking to let go of my Delica. I picked it up from Glen and the fellas at Coombs Country Autos on Vancouver Island a couple years back. It was a replacement for my ‘68 VW, due to the fact that I needed a cross country vehicle for a while.
It is registered and resides in Newport, Kentucky. I’ve done three West coast round trips since we got it home and registered it. It’s been a great vehicle, but my need for it has passed. It had aproximately 160,000km when I bought it, but had a new top end fairly recently. I’ve put another 60,000km or so since then.
I have a log book from the time I purchased it that includes all fuel, additive, oil changes and service history, along with the paperwork, some from before I owned it as well. I have a geat local diesel mechanic that has been looking after it for me regularly, and can give you his contact info as well.
This is not a garage creature and while it looks very good from accross the street has it’s cosmetic issues. I will endeavor to provide detailed photos as soon as I get a chance. I’m easing myself into the reality of selling it, hence the post today. Get with me and we can discuss details. I’m looking for a realistic and mutually satisfying deal with someone that understands these vehicles.
Full Super Exceed package with cool rear captain’s seats that slide and pivot and recline. Rear reclining bench. Crystalite roof with windows and working electric shades (one side of one shade is off track).
