Hi! My name is Etienne and I am living in Calgary Alberta Canada and bought this thing!! It’s started of as a landscaping truck for carrying material so the box is kind of beat up it had a weird canvas canopy before, anyway that’s what I think. So more info on the thing, its the delica truck l200 chassis so it has a full frame and very heavy duty, 5 leafs in the back 850 kgs payload, manual transmission, N/A 4D56, 4.8 diffs it’s has now 161000 kilometers 30000 more than when I bought it now upgrade I did since, all new shocks, 2 inch lift kit, 31” tires, reindexed front bars, Ironman LP4 leaf helper, roof basket, all fluids and filters, side exit, tuned the IP, it’s been deadly reliable. So now, the “camper” I wanted an unit that was separate from the cab and light so I bought that naked spacekap which is normally used for contractors so it’s all 1 inch foam board everywhere, really bad finishing from me, cubic mini woodstove big drawers systems, smittybilt awning, outside cooking system, maxxair fan…ton of store on the side of the box…BUT! It’s pretty rusty….but it’s mostly surface rust…. Anyway here couple pics

Wow, cool! I just joined this forum today, thinking I must have the only 1992 4wd pick-up in New Zealand, maybe the world...I have never even seen a picture of another until yours. I know of one other 4wd truck here in NZ, but it is a '93 with the less boxy cab and a turbo...see pic below.

Mine is same spec as yours - non-turbo 4D56 & 4.875 diffs....pretty much the slowest vehicle on the road, but very reliable and incredibly useful for collecting full sheets of ply, loads of firewood etc. I have often thought of building a camper back on mine like yours, but have made do with a roof tent so far, although having to take out all your bedding and fold them up when wet is a pain, so what you have done is surely the way to go.

Yesterday, on an impulse, I bought a rusted out 1992 4wd van for its turbo engine, LSD, and possibly the auto gearbox as well, but I am already starting to find that our trucks have surprisingly little in common with the vans. Shorter wheelbase and narrower track, for a start, so the auto box will almost certainly be too long to fit, and the back axle too wide, plus the front suspension and steering is different - not sure how much use the van will be after all! I think the trucks must be real factory mash-ups, with bits from Pajeros, L200s, and L300s.

Good to know there is at least one more out there anyway :)

This thing is sweet! My wife bought our van for landscaping, but then quickly realized it shouldn't take such a beating! Love the camper addition!
