Let me start by saying this is an amazing adventure van, and is generally in fantastic shape. We’re sad to pass the van on to a new home, but have realized that we just don’t have the time to continue maintaining it. We bought the van in 2018 and have had many great memories and adventures with it. Prior to that the van had a single owner in Japan up until it was imported to the US.
The back seats have been taken out for a camper conversion with faux wood floors, a modular couch which easily converts into a bed, and outlets (AC/DC and USB ports). It’s very comfortable for sleeping in. There are very nice storage drawers underneath the couch which can store a lot.
We have maintained the van in excellent condition and have taken care of several “wear-and-tear” issues over the past 5 years that are typical for an older car (replaced the brake master cylinder, accelerator cable, thermostat housing and gasket, radiator upper hose, front shocks). The van is currently not running due to 2 issues which should be relatively easy fixes, but we are just don’t have the time and energy to fix right now. I believe it needs a new timing belt and probably a new battery or alternator. I can pass along the name of our mechanic in Seattle who has performed prior repairs and maintenance on it.
