1994 Delica L400 Auxiliary Fuel Input? (Looking to install small gas heater in van)

I am currently converting my 1994 delica super exceed space gear into a camper van and want to install a small webasto heater that drills through the floor. It draws gas from the van with a small fuel line and pump. Have seen some install videos on sprinter vans and pro masters and they have an extra port on their tanks for the fuel line of the gas heater. Wondering if there is something similar on these vans to hook up on the gas tank or if I have to tap the tank.

This might give you some ideas. This isn't me or my video but the guy installs a diesel heater in his L400.

YouTube

I haven't personally done this to my van yet but I do intend to eventually! I found this video a while back and thought it might be useful. Good luck!

Edit: fixed link

as @sk66 said. Did this on an L300 and Tee'd into a rubber line by fuel filter instead of tapping the fuel tank. Installed the fuel pump close to the source.

not too familiar with L400... but if your taking out the rear heater/ac controls and consequently the heater unit as part of the conversion u can use the openings for the back heater to run electrical/air intake/heat duct inside instead of cutting a hole.

Any luck with the heater. I'm looking to do the same with a webasto petrol heater and not sure if I can do it my self or not?
