Apparently Delica's are a challenge to insure - who do you insure with in the USA?!?

Did anyone with Progressive get the boot recently? They charged me a couple hundred bucks and change, out of the clear blue with no explanation, 3 mo. before the policy renewal and then cancelled the policy.

I spoke with a few agents and they said the van was "audited and delcared an unaccpetable risk". No further explanation.

The charge is illegal in Montana but they've so far refused to refund it and are demanding different batches of pictures (for a vehicle they no longer insure...?) in order for me to get those funds back. Pretty bizarre. Head's up if you have a Delica insured with them!

But only for too/from "events" and occasional fun drives; no "daily driving"? I know when I mentioned taking it mildly off road they said "hell no."
no such stipulations with my policy. In fact, I incurred damage while off roading it and they paid for my repairs without even batting an eye

What damage did you incur offroad that they agreed to cover?

I slid backwards on a steep hill and it ripped this front fascia off. I just told them "I rolled back down a steep hill and it tore my bumper off". They didn't ask if I was off roading and I didn't tell them. But, to be fair I wasn't hammering it super extreme either, it was fairly tame, just an unfortunate angle. Stuff happens. I have been a good customer of theirs for years insuring cars likes like a V-12 Mercedes, 1966 Caddy, a CTS-v wagon, and older Lexus LS.
