Not immaculate, but overall very nice condition and pretty clean, includes the light switch bezel. Dark chocolate brown (can be painted)... I would guess the fabric is faded. Colors in the pictures are accurate (but I cannot say if your monitor is).

so tempting, I've been after one for a while but would need to double confirm my colour. is there a part number on the lid to confirm the colour?
 
if you find a part number on there, there are different part numbers for different colors. i recently went down this rabbit hole with emergency brake covers and there are lots of options each in different color (and all out of production/unavailable).

I looked for a part number on it today; no joy.

The console is from a '91 exceede like mine; that would make the console itself part #MB751299, which is the same for all model years (w/ the brown interior). '91 would make the padded lid part #MB768065 (≤ 7/91) or part #MB961818 (≥ 8/91)... I suspect the difference is in the fabric pattern because the unpadded lid is the same for all model years.
