I have a set of custom-made curtains for an L300.
  • These were professionally made to our specs locally in Portland.
  • The material in commercial-grade Sunbrella fabric, which is UV-stable (the same used in commercial patio umbrellas) and can be cleaned with just about anything.
  • Includes 90 3D-printed sliders and metal hooks.
  • All curtains have sewn ties with metal snaps.
  • For the back, I have a custom curtain rod with the curtain.
  • For the front, I have a privacy cover that slips over the front two seats for more privacy.
The curtains have been stored in our house since last March, which is when we sold the van. They were made in 2018 and are in perfect condition. These are all the photos I have of the curtains in the van. I can get you more photos of the curtains off the van if you'd like.

$400

Located in Portland, OR. Will ship at buyer's expense.

Hey! I'm looking for some 3D Print files for the sliders or would be interested in buying the sliders - do you have the print file from your custom shop or would you be able to put me in touch with them?

I made some curtains with Polartec WindPro that hide the rail with 3D printed Mitsubishi logo snap gliders. Happy to send over the STL files if anyone needs some. Filament is rPET. I'll give out the curtain patterns too (adjusted to fit a bit tighter to window than mine are).

I'd make another set in exchange for a later-model water-cooled turbo ;)

Nice! Very well done.

I would definitely love the pattern for the curtains. Please post them!

Curious why you went with polartec windpro - I'm thinking about using a mylar fabric to line the original curtains if I can clean them up. Any one have experience using InsulBright?

All the files are in the 3D Print Resources, including the patterns for the curtains.

Wind Pro has amazing insulation capabilities, and a windproof exterior (haven't redone my window seals)
Additionally, it's recycled polyester, as is the print filament for the snaps, and the thread. That makes the curtains fully recycled and mechanically recyclable.

I'd recommend any wind treated insulation fabric as you can get away with massive functionality in a single layer of fabric. I can sleep in the van in the winter now with a good blanket. Otherwise, I'd go with a wind-proof woven synthetic sandwiching a layer of Omni-Heat or another malleable aluminum or mylar fabric.

If anyone in Portland is reading, go to Mill End.

Does any have the size / dimensions of the sliders and how many are typically used per window top and bottom?
The size for this part https://delicaforum.com/index.php?resources/l300-curtain-slider.13/ is...

The bottom section diameter is 11.5 mm and is 2.15mm high, the middle section diameter is 6.35mm and is 2mm high, the top has an angled chamfer that is 0.8 mm high the connects from the middle section to another top section that also has a diameter of 11.5 mm and is 1.6mm high, then you have a 2.7mm thick loop that is 4.75mm high.

As for the number, I use 6-8 sliders per top and bottom of the curtains depending on if the window is larger or smaller.
