EGT & Boost gauge kit; plates/gaskets/hardware

Pretty sure if I got my EGT gauge up to 11k degrees there would be no amount of backing down that would keep it running as it would likely be a puddle of liquid.jk
Yeah, I think there's an extra zero there... ;)
I can’t remember what temperature is the danger zone on an L 400 for extended driving.
1200˚f all day; above 1400˚f for any real length of time is danger zone; but many treat 1200˚f as the safe limit...

L400? Mine wanted to charge up the hill. But it still scared me when it got that high so I backed it down.
No, mine is a L300. It was a sarcastic reply to you saying your were pushing 11,000 degrees as it should be 9900 degrees less given melting point of the steel.

Thick stainless steel plates compatible with stainless and brass fittings. Both plates are tapped 1/8-27 NPT and a brass 3/16 barb fitting for installing a boost gauge is included. Includes hardware, vacuum plug, and laser cut high temp gaskets. Fits both the L300/L400 diesels.
$55ea shipped to lower 48, $53 w/o the barb fitting (not required if you get an electronic boost sensor; e.g. glowshift 3-in-1)...

4 1 available, PM to order. (I can make more on fairly short notice; and it's no problem if you want either/both plates left untapped)

**Note: Pipe threads are tapered; the plates install dimpled face out.
