Experimenting with KYB Monomax 565008 for the rear

After a considerable amount of time researching shock options I am trying out the KYB Monomax 565008 for the rear shocks (ECS pin type top). Ordered from NAPA on presidents weekend 15% off sale for $78 a piece. I've reviewed ALL of the different shock length options out there so for reference they are almost identical in length to the Rancho RS999208 listed on DelicaUSA L400 info page except they have a 12x38mm eye on the bottom instead of 16x38mm. My plan is to remove the metal collar thing from the bushing and drill it out slightly, then use the metal collar from the old KYB. Should be a great upgrade for someone who is planning on towing or is loaded down pretty heavy.. They are super stiff (some say too stiff) but should work out nice for the trailer I intend on pulling. I am installing these in conjunction with Air Lift bags 61792 in the rear, and I am installing Ultima 4x4 HD shocks (400575) in the front as well as 25mm upper ball joint spacers to correct the camber. My van has 2" lift HD coils in the rear and the front torsion bars are maxed out so the tires have been wearing significantly on the inside. If anyone is interested ill post pictures of modifying the lower eye of the shock and comment on the ride.
