Hey y'all! I just bought a '95 Delica L400 SWB Super Exceed, and I'm super psyched to be a part of the Delica fam! Woo!
A few more specs - Crystal light roof, V6 Gas - 24 Valve, 7 seater, 1-2in lift kit, 46K miles... anything else?
Wanted to give a shout-out to Mardy at Amazing Auto located in BC, Canada for selling me a quality vehicle. I purchased this baby without even having seen or test driven it, and sent Mardy a bunch of cash upfront to reserve it (pretty nerve-racking experience). I read a bunch of reviews on a few Delica forums that all vouched for him, but still scary! I drove up to the border of Canada and Washington, where he had the car exported and delivered to a gas station that he uses frequently. The pick-up experience was effortless, and he took care of all the paperwork/coordinating. Super pleased with the process.
I told him I was going to get it inspected in Portland, and he seemed a little offended. Besides the A/C needing to recharged and the radio needing to be rewired, the inspection came out with flying colors - it's road trip ready! The front panel was really brittle and cracked in a few places when removing, but these are things that I know I need to come to terms with when buying a 25 year old van.
