Installing Torsion bars

Hi all. I have a pair of H100 T bars that I'm about to install. The existing original / Mitsi bars are stuffed and the van is sagging at the front. Is any one able to tell me the standard ride height (front and rear) and where it is measured ? TIA

This thread has some discussion on that and an illustration from the factory manual:

The workshop manual covers that. I also recommend reading the section on replacing the torsion bars before you start the job: there's nothing particularly tricky, but doing it in the right order makes it a lot easier. You might need to drop the front fuel tank (if fitted) a little.

Grease the adjuster bolts and nuts, and do them up by hand: there's a lot of force on the adjuster nut near the end, and if you're tightening it quickly with a rattle gun it can gall against the rod or seat.

I was like- what about the passenger side since a fuel tank is on the way? And then I noticed that we were chatting about L300.

For an L300 RH passenger side, the trick is to remove that bar through the front, next to the AC condenser.

The new passenger bar goes in the same way, from the front.

That little trick saved me a lot of pain.
