Just got the van back from Exotic Exhaust in Hiram GA:cool:. He put a 2.5 Mandrel bent side-exit with a no restriction muffler on the Zanimo wagonIMG_1513.JPGI'm sooo glad I did this. He said the OEM was jamming up the flow big time and he was impressed by how much the van improved with the exhaust. Sound real nice too, not loud in the cabin, but loud enough to have some attitude outside the van. My turbo whistle isn't that loud. I wonder if that get's louder with more boost, I guess we'll find out.
First impressions is that all me shift-points (5speed) have shifted slightly meaning I get a bit more juice out of each gear. For example 80km would have me in 4th and at 3k RPM. Now, it's 2500. The engine really feels like it's much happier now. The best part, other than my rad new exhaust was that the guy had a shop full of cool hot-rod's but he said the van was the talk of the shop for three days straight. I'll get these country boys on our side before long..:)
Cheers everybody,
Morgonzo.

Thanks, you won't regret it. The hardest part was finding a guy who did Mandrel bent pipe, and then getting the van in his door cause he was so busy.
Oh and 2500 rpm at 80kmh was a bit optimistic, but it's defiantly under 3k.

Kellyn, thanks dude! It was 4 hundo right out the door. I was gonna keep the old exhaust (never know when it'll come in handy,,) but I left it there. It was puny compared to the 2.5. I just wanted to get in the van and drive:D

Sexy and yeah, pretty much what I'm looking for. Do you have a parts list you can share?

Thanks man! I just handed the van to him and told him what I wanted. I didn't walk in with my own muffler or anything like that.
