Summary of vehicle:
This is a rare left-hand drive Eastern European market L300 Delica Starwagon. I have owned this beauty for about 3.5 years and drive it regularly; sometimes as my DD for weeks on end when the temperatures are not 115F like they are now here in Texas. The Euro Market Delicas did not come with A/C. They also did not come with the front bull bars. I personally like the look and really shows off the "wedge" of the van. They also have TWO rear sliding doors which is nice.
I have owned many classic and odd vehicles, this one gets the most attention of them all. Great driver quality.

PO gave it a quick and inexpensive paint job but it looks solid at 5 feet. Numerous little dings bumps and bruises.
Engine is STRONG. Does NOT burn oil and does not smoke. All leaks have been corrected over the years of ownership. Shifts perfectly smooth with many new shift lever bushings.

Since ownership, in no particular order, I have replaced: Alternator (with oil pump), Water Pump, Viscous Fan clutch, fan assembly, belts, ALL fluids, dual batteries (recently), almost new BFG AT KO2 (the only AT tire I buy!), ALL filters, ALL shock/dampeners, waste gate lever, radio head unit, speakers, misc. bushings, hoses, brackets, clips, and more. HELLA spots added to aftermarket roof rack (OEM ladder). Lights were temporarily wired, but now no longer wired.
Everything works. Heater, fans, rear heater/fan (under middle seat), lights, defrosters, wipers, power rear door/hatch locks, matching keys (ignition/door), transfer case hi/low, etc.

I added triple gauges under dash that includes Turbo Boost (i have wastegate set at 11 psi max) and EGT gauge. Even loaded with people at 65 mph slowly climbing up the larger/longest bridge over the Houston ship channel, I could never get EGT's over 900 F. which is good. There is a water temp gauge mounted but it is NOT hooked up to a sender. Simply adding a sender and wire to the gauge will get it working. The water temp gauge on the dash always seemed accurate, so I didn't end up hooking up the VDO one. The van never over-heats and stops well. Starts instantly and never left me stranded.

Issues: The only real issues are rust. mainly body rust. If it didn't have rust, I would be asking $15-$16k. This is mainly relegated to the body panels as with most L300's. The bottom of the door had a chunk rust out of the bottom of it and I had my nephew try some notice garage body work as a Band-Aid. Also a hole in the floorboard near peddles. A plate was epoxied in place and painted over. It is perfectly fine but long term future ownership will want to address so it doesn't spread. Other rust is forming around window rails and other common areas. All of this can easily be corrected with patience and a little body work skill. I have neither. Some of the gaskets and window seals will eventually need to be replaced.

If i was the future buyer, I would leave as-is and enjoy the hell out of it. Perfect run-around vehicle for someone that wants to haul 8 people (7 seatbelts, one jump seat) up a rocky mountain or sand dune in a vehicle with the wheelbase of a Miata. But if you are on this site you already know what you are looking at!

Vehicle was parked in my garage for years, but is now sent to pasture, locked in a gate outside at my office building. I drive it once a week (even in this hear) to keep it tip top. Call or text during reasonable hours, email any time. Comes see and drive whenever is convenient and I'm in town. Work hours are actually best.
If you register in Texas, you can keep the VAN DIESEL plates.

Looking for transparent and low drama transaction. Reasonable offers entertained. No super hurry to sell. Ask me anything. Cheers.
