Still no test drives? I bought it for $11000 and have put $6000 of improvements into it.
Will consider delivering out of state for gas cost and time off $$$.
$8500 cash or $9000 cash/ credit card split (will split between multiple cards).
Has illuminated digital readout for exhaust temp. Love it, esp going up hills.
Bluetooth CD stereo update with driver side microphone for hands free shouting.
Starts up easy and every time.
*A little gummy on the start now with this super cold weather, need to hold the key in position until it gets going*
Brand new curtains are temporarily hanging- I just finished making them and drove it to California at the beginning of October and didn't have time to permanently attach them yet. I'm investigating how to do that so they can be removed for washing. Also removed gross sliding door inner panel that was ratting up to put a new one on. I have components- die cut high density cardboard and faux leather vinyl, I haven't had time to do that. Maybe I will get to that soon or it can be your project?
Has bench seat that is in storage that can come with it. Roll up futon mattress does not have to come with the van. It takes a Queen size. I got a lovely cheap one with tie strings on Overstock that comes in every color you could want.
Quirks are calculated into the price of the vehicle. Have lots of receipts and service records, a lot of money has gone into getting this thing dependable. It is 30 years old and there is still plenty that can be done. Car is AS IS.
QUIRKS-
The brand new windshield has a crack now. Save the gasket when you replace it because it's expensive and takes a long time to ship.
Front right wiper arm is a bit loose and sometimes doesn't put enough pressure for a clean wipe the size of the full arm of the wiper blade.
Still has a small roof drip that comes in through the right side of the sun roof. I don't think it's from the sun roof, I think it could be from one of the right side roof windows and it slides towards the front after it pools?
The gate hatch button on the dash doesn't work because the back hatch got stuck locked and the only way to resolve it was by cutting the cable that connects to it. So you can only lock and unlock the back hatch manually. The Gate Lock light still works. You can hear the cable drag in the roof if you take a hard turn or bump.
The lock on the driver side door occasionally doesn't move down when you go to lock it, so you have to open the door, manually push the pin down so it gets back on the track and then try locking the door again. This only started recently and hasn't bothered me enough to open the door panel and try to fix it myself.
Front right passenger roof shade works but has popped off the little pipe that attaches to the slider mechanism. It's such a tedious, nimble-fingered process to pop it back on and I haven't made time to do it.
