Speedometer stopped working

My speedometer was working fine then it just stopped working. Before i take my dashboard apart just want to know if there are common issues with these speed meter that i should be aware of. Thx

It's cable drive from the transmission, I would check that end before pulling the dash.

I found the problem. There is a kink on the cable, Do you know where i can source a new cable? Thx

Sorry, not offhand... I would start at Amayama to get a part number and go from there. I would imagine it would interchange with the early L300; but I really don't know.
