Trying to wire front spotlights '93 l300

Helping my mechanic locate the information we need to get the front spotlights working. Does anyone know where the original OEM switch for the front spotlights should be, and have any wiring diagrams or other information that will help? I have directed technician to the 1992 wiring diagrams available, they apparently didn't help, but someone on another forum mentioned a 1992 "supplement" which maybe I need? Background: The lights were non-functional when the vehicle was purchased. First I replaced the left of the four switches shown (there was just a toggle switch with no wiring) with the OEM switch and connected a fused wiring harness which turns on the dash/parking/lights and rear "fog lights", NOW I realize this fog light switch is not the same as the spotlights. My mechanic has since located the wires for the front spotlights (white and black wires shown on the floorboard), but not sure where the original OEM switch is supposed to be located. There is also an aftermarket switch on the steering column with wires to nowhere and a missing dash switch, not sure what these were used for.
Again, any wiring information that might be helpful (power box specs/fuse locations/OEM switch location) would be appreciated. Thanks!

The original switch location is where you placed the new one. My 91 diesel doesn't have any of that other stuff.

Mitsubishi did not make any provision to fit spot lamps to the Delica Star Wagon, so there is not an original spot lamp switch. It will be easier to install a new switch and wiring than to utilise something that someone else has installed in the past. It is odd to see a rear fog lamp connected to the front fog lamp switch.

Thanks! This makes the most sense so far, that these lights are after market and the van was not originally equipped with them. My original manual doesn't show any switch or any lights like the front spotlights I have. Maybe this is common knowledge, but I always assumed those lights on other Delicas were original as well.

My front fog lights (yellow lens) are original, but the mounting is a little different (~ same size/place though).

They are not spot lamps. Those auxiliary lamps you see on other Delicas are fog lamps. Front fog lamps were a popular dealer-fitted accessory, and buyers had several front fog lamp types to choose from.

The original JDM fog lamp switch is a double-pole single-throw switch that turns on both the front fog lamps and the tail lamp circuit. From the fog lamp switch connector, there is a red-white wire that terminates at a female bullet connector, just behind the horn, where the front fog lamp wires would connect to.
