Either one depending on the cost. Which is better?Mitsubishi OEM or Hyundai late model OEM.
Late model for the 4D56 in a JB500? Should make a difference what year the vehicle is I think...Mitsubishi OEM or Hyundai late model OEM.
Yes, same as of that for water cooled 4D56.Late model for the 4D56 in a JB500? Should make a difference what year the vehicle is I think...
I took them out to get them cleaned, the shop say they need to be replaced. The workshop is unable to refurbish them? What happened to your poor injectors?!
It is 1995.Late model for the 4D56 in a JB500? Should make a difference what year the vehicle is I think...
That would be the later version of the injectors... no real preference of manufacturer; just avoid third party offbrand (chinese). It is 1995.
Ok thx, I will try to figure out how to source them. That would be the later version of the injectors... no real preference of manufacturer; just avoid third party offbrand (chinese).
Mitsubishi- MD196607
Bosch- 9430610179
Zexel- 105148-1311
Hyundai would be fine too, but IDK the correct part number.
Steven Lee said he has them in stock (above). Probably your easiest/fastest option, and the price isn't bad considering.Ok thx, I will try to figure out how to source them.
Thx, I am also sceptical of the diagnosis.Steven Lee said he has them in stock (above). Probably your easiest/fastest option, and the price isn't bad considering.
But make sure you get your old ones back; it's pretty rare that an injector has to be replaced and can't be cleaned/rebuilt... I'm a bit sceptical of the diagnosis.
Btw could you tell the difference between the original and the newer ones? Are they downward or even upward compatible? I run just "injectors" since they told me the old ones were toast ... I'm really interested and also a little bit afraid of damages ...That would be the later version of the injectors... no real preference of manufacturer; just avoid third party offbrand (chinese).

I am getting them back.Sad to tell you, but they will certainly try to sell them new because it's way easier for them to make a buck this way.
Will let you know. ThxBtw could you tell the difference between the original and the newer ones? Are they downward or even upward compatible? I run just "injectors" since they told me the old ones were toast ... I'm really interested and also a little bit afraid of damages ...
As I understand it, the newer version is matched for the later IP pump, which runs at a higher pressure. And if you put them on a lower pressure pump they will open less/late. IDT there is any real risk of damage; just reduced performance.Btw could you tell the difference between the original and the newer ones? Are they downward or even upward compatible? I am getting the OEM injectors. I am getting my old injectors back from the shop. I believe my old injector are good, I will keep them for future. What shop is this?
Unless they are rusted or the return area on top of the injector is damaged. Those are the only reasons they would not be able to rebuild them.
I stock the nozzles for these injectors. Zexel usually has nozzles in the county, as they were used in some equipment applications. I have to have the nozzles for the 4M40 brought in from Europe or Japan, but do try to keep a set.
