I am thinking about placing an order for a new windshield for my L300 and there is room in the crate for more glass. Let me know if you want in and we can save on shipping together. I am located in the East Bay.
 
Have you already tried to get a local 1988 Mitsubishi Van windshield and everyone is out of stock? When I replaced my windshield, I had a local "random glass company" replace my windshield with a "bronze" instead of "green" windshield for $200. Honestly, I could not tell the difference in the "tint".

I asked Safelite in San Diego, and they said they were out of stock... Then I called a few other local (non-safelite) autoglass companies and several said they could get it from their warehouse. So, try that?

Thanks for the tip. I only tried the one glass place and figured they had a pretty comprehensive reach of suppliers but I guess I can try more before going the import route.
 
We actually have L300 and L400 Windshields in stock. The only pain in the ass part is shipping them, so we don't have them listed on the website. If someone would take them as they're packed we'd sell them all.
