Worst luck ever. Starts but barely runs.

So I after I replaced the rubber hoses a week ago cause they were leaking air into the system. I got to start my van the day a hurricane is supposed to hit and it runs for a minute then dies. When I try and start I have to push the pedal to the floor and then it barley stays running. I even eliminated the primer filter to eliminate that as an option.

Is the electric pump still hooked up? And if so, is it running?
It is. I used to troubleshoot. I couldn’t get it to pull and fuel. So I knew there was a leak somewhere. Went from the tank and tighented every clamp. It started pulling fuel just fine. I primed the system and it started right up. I changed the lines back at the tank so they must have been bad also. I didn’t know their was rubber lines back there or I would have done it the first time.

This happened to me with a toyota diesel, which is similar but no inline electric pump, so take this with a grain of salt. I ran my tank empty and it ran OK after priming, but then died a few days later. I think it was air just upstream of the lift pump that is built into the injector pump. Bleeding at the injectors fixed the problem.

How long did you bleed each injector? I am getting what appears to be a solid stream from each line. But I am still losing prime on the fuel system and it is causing a rough idle until I depress the priming pump a couple of times
