L300 Delica Starwagon -Wheel Width/Offset Specs Thread

  • Wheel: Pro Comp Series 51 Flat Black
  • Wheel Size: 15x8
  • Offset: -19 mm
  • Tire: BFG KO2
  • Tire Size: 31x10.5R15
  • Running spacers (y/n): N
  • Lifted (y/n): Y
  • Notes: DelicaLiftKits 2" lift (Extended shackles, 2" ball joint spacers, Pro Comp shocks)

Front steps removed and a decent amount of painful cutting and hammering per usual to alleviate the rubbing up front. Still rubs here and there but only when making tight turns in parking lots and when on the brakes taking turns at low speeds. I love the look of the setup and the KO2's are amazing. Took the van on a 4 month road trip this winter through CO, UT, WY, MT, WA, OR, CA, and NV and had little to no problems with traction. Of course, plenty of clearance as well.

@sojo.thedojo on instagram if anyone wants more pics or to check out the camper conversion.

After looking through this thread its seems 32" OD may be the max tire, if even used? We have this new dual swing out set up to accept a 32" tire and it is getting a little tight with the optional flip out stainless table surfaces on back sides of both of the swing out arms. We can make it work with a 32" tire so will leave it. A 245/70/17=30.5" & Crawdaddy is up at a 31" OD .

It won’t require any cutting. Its pretty common to get a 30x9.5x15 under there so you should be good to go.

Will a 235/75/15 fit in the spare tire basket? I can do a little cut and weld if need be but I don't have one yet to check...
For the basket it will fit but in use it depends on the rim offset… the previous owner of my l300 installed 235/75r15 on rim with an offset of -20… it sticks out about 30mm and rub in corners when suspension is compressed.

@Flying_Fess 30” fits. I’ve run it. My people have run it. Stock position, no mods, Aired up and with a hitch. Yea it was snug but it goes.

  • Wheel: American Racing Baja Polished
  • Wheel Size: 16x7.5
  • Offset: Forgot
  • Tire: 2017 Edition Cooper Discover AT3 LT
  • Tire Size: 235.85.16
  • Running spacers (y/n):
  • Lifted (y/n): FTS upper ball joint spacers, rear drop shackles, Dobinson Torsion Bars
  • Notes: Lots of cutting to fit. Most of it was rusted anyway so it worked out perfectly :)
The L400 has stock steelies on it, blasted, primed, and painted hot rod black which is kinda like a semi gloss. The tires on it are nearly 31" BFG All Terrains. Phenomenal tire!

View attachment 5410the L400 has stock wheels that you painted? They don't look like my stock wheels on the exact same car

Looking to run these methods on my delica, how are the specs looking?

Does that apply to the fronts only?
Front hub bore on an L300 is 105.7mm., so your 106.25 bore rims will be close, but probably work.

Good info here:

L400 front bore is 113 I think.

Seems like hub centric spacers and feeler gauges are gonna be the way to go with on this one. Cheers

you don't need hub spacers/shims. unless for some reason those wheels are hub centric & not lug centric like most all aftermarket wheels.
