L300 Delica Starwagon -Wheel Width/Offset Specs Thread

33x10.5x15
Stupid lift (not sure on how much)
Trimming required (I’ll take pictures)
15x7 American racing rims.
Slider rubs tire like my 2 inch lifted one on 31x10.5x15

Did you tune your Delica after this?I put 31.65's on mine - did some plastic and metal shaving and they fit great - but my gas mileage went to 16mpg's and my egr's go up quick on any incline -need more power to accomodate the extra rolling mass!

I don’t drive the Delica much. It is actually under tuned (5psi boost) I have it torn apart right now to fix some stuff. I need to see where my mpg and egt is.

15x10” -44mm wheels
33x12.5” wildpeaks
4ish” lift
Lots of cutting
Sliding door extender
Joseph showed off your truck to me already and man what a beast. Great work man. ls that snorkel metal or some other material? And as well, the bumper is freakin rad. On one of my Delicas it has an old school aluminum bumper from Australia.. Though it doesn't flow neatly on the corners it is a solid piece, and has a platform underneath to mount a winch that secures into the front frame rails. Do you mind showing off how you mounted that winch? Also what what capacity are you running? Anyways I am thinking of laser scanning the bumper since I have access to that ungodly expensive tool and reworking it a bit and getting them factory made. I will post a pic of the van and give the wheel information as well just to make it relevant

15x8 -20mm
235/75/15 Bridgestone Dueller A/T tires
stock lift, front tires rub at full lock but I will fix it when it's time for this van's build.

If you ever considered making another I’d gladly pay for one. I’m located in Bham, so probably not far from where you’re at!!
Would love to build more, but the amount of time that went into it is insane.
That bumper is awesome. Custom roof rack also?

Came we get a side view of the van?
Thanks! For the most part I'm happy with how it turned out. The roof rack is 2 pieces that bolt together. Only the front piece is custom and not by me unfortunately. I like the design quite a bit but I really feel the weight up there when I'm off camber.

Don't want to get this wheel thread too off topic, but here is a side view where you can see how much material I had to take off for the wheels to clear (ignore the rust, I'm working on it!)

Snorkel is pvc or equivalent. The previous owner's design. Eventually I'd like to tig weld a stainless version, but the project list goes on and on...

I am jealous that your bumper is made of aluminum. It likely weighs 100 lbs less than my design! I tried to use some aluminum in my build, but my welding skills are barely sufficient for steel haha.
Are you worried at all about the oil cooler being completely covered? I thought about relocating, but so far it seems ok for me. The winch is 10,000lb. The plate mounts to the upper and lower bullbar mounting points, but at the lower attachment points I'm using all 4 bolts on each side and 1/4' plate. This means the front A/C condenser had to go, but it was rubbing the tires anyway haha

Don't put 31x10.5"s on a 6" wheel, it's a waste of perfectly good tyres.
You *can* get away with it but you'll have odd handling with lots of tyre roll, bad fuel economy, and nasty feathering on the outside edges of the tyres which won't go away, no matter what pressure you run.

They do look good though. Big fat bouncy balloon tyres

So put 31x10.5 on 6 lug 15 inch wheel doesn't sound good for you ? Even with a 2inch lift kit? With tyres and wheels size are the best for you ? I going to change my wheels and tyres, but I would like to have the perfect choice between style and efficiency ( and fuel too). I prefer to ask you because you're the Bible of L300. Cheers

6" wheel = 6 inch wide wheel, not six lug wheel. That was in reply to a post saying they were "Thinking about putting a 31x10.5x15 on the 15x6 stock l300 wheel."
A 15x6" wheel (any 6" wide wheel) is too narrow for a 10.5" tyre, you really need a wheel that's between 7 to 9 inches wide.

31" tyres will probably need a litle trimming of the fender liners, and removing the tubular front step (if fitted). 30x9.5R15 is a good size for the L300 that will fit without any issues at all.

Wheel: Method Race Wheels MR301
Wheel Size: 16x7
Offset: 4 in.
Tire: BFG KO2
Tire Size: 245/75/R16
Running spacers (y/n):  N
Lifted (y/n):  N
Notes: Dobson torsion bars over torqued to get the front up. Front tires still rub when turning hard. I wish I went with a smaller tire. Thinking of switching out for 235/70/R16.
