Need a rack and pinion for L300 starwagon

Hello. I’m looking for an aftermarket rack and pinion set up for my 1993
L300 delica star wagon. Or one that’s completely refurbished. If anyone out there in Delica land has one hit me up and let me know the price. I was lucky enough to find someone to work on my van here in Indiana.
 
A 2WD steering rack works, just need to swap the ends.

There is a used one, from a supplier for $700. I am skeptical though. I saw new ones for $400, but they are from the Phillipines. But I know the starwagon 4WD is a staple there. Does anyone have experience buying a new one from overseas?

I would also be skeptical about the used one. There is (was) a Mitsubishi factory in the Philippines that made the L300... The second link above talks about installing one purchased from Alibaba (China).

I bought one from Alibaba and it looks good, but it's just sitting in my garage attic in case I ever need it.

Just to clarify, do you mean swap the inner tie rods, tie rods our outer tie rod ends? “So many tie rod parts”!

The tie rods... the center rack/pinion and the outer tie rod ends are the same. But the tie rod inbetween is a bit longer on the 4WD.

Cost wise you would be better off buying direct... I'd have to charge about $400 delivered and it would still need modified. Plus I mistyped, it's from Alibaba (China), not Amayama (Japan).

I recently crashed my van. Also in June KARR automotive installed my suspension. Lmk if you need anything
