is this specifically for diesel?

I noticed brake caliper references and links earlier in this thread. Seemed like the sites that carried the crossover 89 Montero part only have the passenger side caliper available.

Near by NAPA says these are in stock and available. Do they look like they would work for an 89 P25W?

Thank you
They look reasonable, but NAPA does not list them as a fit.

Newb here. Long time lurker, first time poster. Ive searched through manuals and megazip and havent found it (probably overlooked).
Need help finding a part, Ive sheared off one of the power connections.
Looks like some vacuum line thingamabobber that comes off the fuel pump???AF4F1DAC-E3A4-4A10-A751-7A7A61AC768E.jpeg37126A16-6AD6-4356-BF4E-63BCF0F927B1.jpeg

OK. I was looking in the wrong place... its a VALVE, A/C VACUUM SOLENOID, P/N MB031291.
Now to find one... seems there are no more. If anyone has any ideas on something I can do... holla

It's the idle-up solenoid for when the A/C is turned on. Basically, if the A/C causes the rpm to drop when it's turned on the vacuum drops and the solenoid activates causing the engine rpm to increase a couple hundred (I think, I'm not sure mine works). It's not that critical; you could just abandon it, or install a manual/mechanical switch... assuming you have functional AC and it even matters at all.

It's a fairly generic part, at least on '90s vehicles. Used on all sorts of vacuum emissions systems. You should be able to find a functional replacement at a junkyard, just look for an engine bay with vacuum hose spaghetti and start digging.

Can you tell me the oil filter number and maker?

It took me forever to find but, ABS# 0724Q is the complete hardware kit (springs/etc) for the rear drums.

@devildegg
Short answer is get oem. But as i wrote that there is no oem available. Hmmm…I got mine through Amayama as an oem replacement and it fits just fine. Might want to see what they have as I don’t remember off the top of my head

Long answer about belts not fitting…

Hello friends, just did a input shaft seal and bushings on the Aisin 03-72l 4 speed transmission for my girlfriend's 93' exceed 46G4 gas Delica. Wanted to share some knowledge gained that will help anybody attempting to make your trans better insulated and not a constant loss lubrication system.
Symptoms:
Atf (red fluid) dripping from bottom of bell housing, especially while in gear.
Parts used:
Input shaft seal:
Ebay trans seal
Ton of overlap parts # wise but this one worked for us.

Upper trans crossmember bushings:

Per GrowlerBeamNZ's recommendation used these Nissan bushings and trimmed them 5mm in width to fit the crossmember
FEBEST NAB-134 BUSHING
Lower transmission mount bushing:

Quick rant about this, don't buy these from Delicausa.com ($45 a piece) because all he does is order these ones below off ebay ($12 a piece) and send them to your house. Nice scam he's running there.
Delphi TD896W (L300 lower trans mount compatible)
This required a hacksaw to cut the old bushing race and a hammer to pop them out. We used a vice and hammer to get all bushings back in. The input shaft seal required a small hole drilled carefully in the face of the seal and a screw to remove the old one.

Having the hardest time tracking down two sets of front brake hose: MB238158 and MB500748. (I realize the line on the left still has the clip on it.)

Any thoughts would be great! Thanks.

@Ssr1013 there are a few options.
Almost certain these cross reference with the USDM van. Since they are off the van it's an easy check.

Napa - UP 38123 & UP 609302 and while you are at it get the rear UP 38802

You can get braided lines for the van

Since the hoses are off you can bring them to a hose shop and have them make a set that will be quite a bit cheaper.

Or you gan get a modular kit and build out your stainless lines.
