Part Number Thread for L300

It's a permanent aluminum half moon seal for the valve cover... the rubber ones are problematic and tend to leak all of the time. Costs about $5 +sh from Amayama.com. I would consider this a "must do" when the valves are adjusted.

Looks like these are readily available on eBay/Parts stores in the states for around $18 shipped as well. Not sure how long Amayama took to get but if someones in a hurry it could help.

One thing I've been thinking about is how do we get all the great information here somewhere more readable? Searching for specifics is tough, and I feel like I'm in a constant state of ordering little parts or making notes so that I can keep this info for later.

Would love to see something on this site like what DelicaUsa has.

Tada!

Here's another odd part. It's a window guide that allows your front windows to close completely while traveling at higher speeds... just clips into the window track behind the seal. About $3 ea...

It's shown in the parts diagram (#67103), but it seems like none of them have it installed for some reason...
The diagram states that 2 are required, but I'm using only use one (located in the front where the glass tends to bind otherwise).
At speed the windows *need* them. Just finished ~7000 km road trip through the South West and every time I needed to roll the windows up I had to slow down to about 80 km/h to make it happen. The problem is that the faster you drive the more positive air pressure builds up in the cabin. Basically, the wind hitting the front of the van pushes those front windows outward harder than the wind passing by the side of the van. Crazy!

I may be ordering a quartet of these now, thanks for passing along the part number. Just so you know, the #67103 is a catalog reference number used only by MegaZip.net, the MMC part number is MB421735. I've used this part number at domestic service counters to get some trim parts in the past and when there's a NA equivalent you can usually find it in interchange that way.

Over-drive solenoid, Volvo replacement solenoid (pt# 1239928) for about $45 delivered. You have to splice it in to the harness, but it works perfectly and it's a lot more reasonable than $270.00+sh for OEM w/ the harness.
