Howdy, Nashua based!I have noticed a lot more delica's popping up in southern NH, more specifically Manchester and was wondering if any of you are on here lurking?
I did have a Japanese original title, which was, "in Japanese" LoL. The dmv accepted it, but they apparently can't give me a new New Hampshire title. The dmv wanted a bill of sale from the Japanese shipper who sold it to the US acquisitioner, only the dmv had some Shipper/Seller that had nothing to do with my van. And the dealership I purchased it from didn't have anything they could give me that would work for the dmv.Hmm. I have a Pennsylvania title signed over to me from the dude in Pennsylvania that sold it to me.
I guess I will start an LLC in New Hampshire and have the LLC buy the Deli from me and register it in New Hampshire.
Or maybe just get rid of the Deli all together, which is heartbreaking.
Confused, why they would be de-registering Delica’s in Pennsylvania if I’m understanding you correctly? I know they did that in Maine and Rhode Island but I was unaware that any other states had followed suit…?Get rid of the Deli - Because it seems so difficult to register and be legal. Again, heartbreaking.
The policy makers and enforcers CLEARLY got it wrong when they decided to de-register Delicas but it doesn't seem like it is going to get better.
Another note, if I understand correctly - when Rhode Island tried not to register/title the Delica, Rhode Island actually reversed the mistake and allowed the Delica to be registered.
Maine is not interested in correcting their mistake.
Again, if I understand the Rhode Island case. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Best,
Mike
