Hey y’all! Discussing the idea of towing a 6x10 trailer TGW around 4000lbs loaded, with our L400 V6 3000. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on that?
Cool, thanks jfarsang! Ya, I'll will be installing a class 3 hitch on it. My main concerns are about stopping, and burning up the tranny, more than anything.
By the way, I have a dancing Hobbs tattoo. Love that dude!
Stopping power is adequate for the type of vehicle even with towing. Use the AT power mode and overdrive on hills and descending. Hobbs is awesome. grew up with them !
Thanks for the tips, they sound like a solid plan! Didn't grow up with Calvin and Hobbs, they came along when I was... well almost an adult, like I am still (I'm 58 lol) but I got into them hard when I found them! Thanks again!
