Limited Slip Differential (OEM)

I ended up sourcing a used LSD carrier assembly for a couple hundred bucks from CCA in Vancouver. They pulled it from a 91 Super Exceed. Still haven't even uncrated it but I plan to have a local shop do the setup and install. I will also have the side and pinion bearings replaced as a matter of course. @Growlerbearnz, if there is anything I haven't considered regarding this please let me know. Thanks.

As long as you keep the existing shims, replacing the pinion and side bearings shouldn't change the setup. Make sure the shop changing the bearings has a copy of the relevant pages and specs from the workshop manual- the backlash on these diffs is tighter than on many larger American made diffs, and if the backlash is wrong the contact patch will be wrong. Also make sure they follow the manual and grease the front seal like it says. Axle end play is very easy to set, but they might have to make some shims- which takes 2 minutes with a pair of sharp scissors and some shim stock.
