Ultimate Delica Van Guide

Those new ones in Taiwan are only the 2WD ones with the long body. They're used as little school buses for kindergartens and people carriers. Pretty ugly if you ask me.

My 1991 L300 looks like it’s called the “sport” model. It says “sport” on the drivers side exterior. Does anyone know what was specific about this model? I’m having a hard time finding the specifics out there

Are you sure it's a factory "sport" badge? My 1992 Mitsubishi Expo LRV (sold as the RVR in other markets) had a gold Sport decal, but I believe it was dealer-applied. Got photos?

That definitely could be the case!

@kbrown934 L300 Delicas were made and sold in Japan until 1999. The L300 has been made and sold in other regions (Europe, Mexico, SE Asia, China, Korea) even to this very day where you can buy one new.
Hi! Yes, L300 (Utility Versions) are still being made new and sold here in the Philippines until today.

Guess that makes sense. Probably nonexistent in Japan then? That was kind of the way with Land Cruisers I believe.

Australia had the option, then the option was removed, very rare here too. similar to that of cruisers, though we still get old cruisers available in Australia (as in the old design) but updated with airbags.
