Wet floor fix...

im no expert but that seems like a good plan to me if the sealant will fully cover the exposed metal. I think i just waited for the rust converter to dry and then put the 3M sealant right over. I probably should have sprayed some primer on mine to be safe, but it was still looking good last I checked.

Hi everyone,

I have been trying to find where the water is entering this specific seal/ seam. I have pulled off the cheeks and resealed the areas that typically leak and still cannot get this seal to stop leaking.

I included a wide photo so you can see there I am referencing and I included a photo of the seams inside behind the dash that are leaking.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Have you read this comment earlier in this thread? He details most leak zones. Maybe one of these applies to you?

That's probably coming from the A-pillar. Check the gutter sealant, especially where the gutter ends at the windscreen seal.
It could also be a bad windscreen seal or rust hole, but windscreen seal rust holes generally show up as rust bubbles where the rubber meets the paint.

Is the cheek seam something that needs to flex? I’m just wondering if I could weld it up, or if sealant is the way to go.
Thanks

I wanted to add this to the plethora of areas that water can get in. The holes on this front panel open into the cab. It seems like the 5 plastic insertion tabs originally had a small gasket. Mine only had one left so I applied a bit of gasket maker to each tab.
