I live in Redmond, my buddy just had his truck stolen two weeks ago and they found it at the bum camp by the by space age. I would start driving around looking.

Hi all,

Unfortunately my van was stolen yesterday from the Bend, Oregon area and I know there’s a few Deica folks out here in the PNW so I am asking everyone to please keep your eyes out for my van.

It is a 92’ L300 Chamonix with Colorado plates... I’m posting some photos here to save a long description, but some easily recognizable features are the silver mirror window tints, big black safari rack with a solar panel on the front and a Thule roof box on the driver side (RH). Theres one of Xplormor ‘s side ladders as well.


I was living out of it so it has many irreplaceable items....as well a brand new D4BF, needless to say I am heartbroken so any info would be greatly appreciated.

I did report/post on two Facebook groups when it was announced:

Catching Car Thieves/Stolen Cars- /Burglaries/Theft/One At A Time.. and PNW Stolen Cars. Posted this at the time of seeing it on Delica forums. A lot of feedback but no real solid leads. Good luck!​

Different roof rack and wheels; doesn't appear to have the same passenger door damage or bumper markings... but not impossible.

It's helpful, especially since the 'hood' on a Delica isn't as immediately visible to a would be thief. But a fuel cutoff is infinitely better. The switches are way easier to hide, and don't need to be on the battery itself.
